Fall Quarterly Meeting 2017
Tuesday, September 26, 2017
Issaquah Public Library
10 W Sunset Way
10am-1pm (Starting promptly)
At 1:30pm we have planned a Darigold Plant Tour and we can carpool to that or even walk since we will be quite close to the plant.
And after that a tour to Boehm’s Chocolate and Candy Factory, which is also just down the street.
Also, the Dairy Council meeting is the following day, so you can make it a 2 day adventure. Make sure and check your calendars for these events.
Catch up with fellow dairy women from across the state, learn what is happening, take new ideas back to your county units!
Please RSVP as soon as possible to Darlene DeGroot at firstname.lastname@example.org or (360)825-1042.
Washington State Dairy Women Spring Quarterly
April 4, 2017
Meeting will begin at Appel Farms at 9:30am, 6605 Northwest Drive, Ferndale, Washington, followed by a tour of their new cheese plant at 10:30am and lunch at their deli, complete with their famous Gouda cheeses. And they have a gift store so you can take cheese home. Education, food and business all rolled into one.
Feel free to come the day before. A day early gives time for shopping in Lynden or the Old Fairhaven Village in Bellingham, or stop along the way at the Tulip fields in Skagit county. Either way it’s antique, flower, and craft heaven!
Reservations may be made at the Hampton Inn, Bennett Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225 (phone: 360-676-7700) or contact Darlene DeGroot for the group rate on rooms. The airport is close by the hotel, so if you wanted to fly in, we can pick you up or take the shuttle.
Please let us know you are planning on coming so we can arrange for the food. Call Darlene DeGroot at (253)261-3618 or email at email@example.com
Looking forward to seeing you there.
